Prettiness!

Some cakes are just unashamedly pretty. And this yellow and white tiered wedding cake from Whipped Bakeshop has prettiness in bucket-loads!

This layered wedding cake is just beautiful. I have great admiration for anyone who can paint like this, especially onto icing. The little birds are love, to colouring is wonderful, and the little nest on the top just completes the win. I'd actually be tempted to get married if it meant having a cake like this! Although I might have a problem sharing it with my guests...

In case you haven't noticed, I really like themed cakes, and these theatrical creations are just exquisite. The first was made for the Flickr Bake-Off challenge, and I can't seem to find who made the second one!

I found this crazy, Mad Hatter's Tea Party cake, made by babushka_bakery. I'm not even sure how it's possible!
